Dave Rollo

Dave Rollo, born in Pontiac, Michigan, is a 21-year resident of Bloomington, and has had family here for over 50 years. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Michigan State University, he moved to Bloomington to pursue and obtain a Master's degree in Plant Sciences. Since 1995, Dave has worked as a Research Associate in the IU Department of Biology, specializing in Microbial Development, Microbial Ecology and Evolution. He is 45 years old.

Dave was first elected to the Bloomington Common Council in January 2003 by the Democratic Party Caucus, to fill a vacant seat. He was then elected to a full term in November 2003, in the general election, and re-elected to a second full term in 2007.
